Navigating the Festivities

If you are struggling in the lead-up to Christmas and New Year — or the festive season in general — please know that this is OK, and it’s also completely normal. This time of year can be especially hard for families missing someone so deeply loved and longed for.
Be gentle with yourself. Do what feels right for you and your family. You are allowed to step back, slow down, or take a break from being “merry,” even when others may expect you to be.
