Welcome to love from dad
The Love From Dad website has been designed to help you to find and build your own community to help you through the grief that accompanies pregnancy or child loss as a dad.
The resources in this website have been carefully curated to help you find things that can assist you in your journey no matter what part of that journey you are in.
''There are other dads like you and me, we are everywhere, but in the early days we all seem hidden to each other, we are all hidden in plain sight''- here at Love From Dad we hope to change that.
Love From Dad's Unspoken Journeys Blog also gives dads and non-birthing partners a space they have never truly had, but also one that maybe they didn’t know they needed. A space to tell a story. A space to read other peoples stories. There can be comfort taken from knowing that you are not alone and there are others in your community and all around the world just like you trying to navigate this world that you have so cruely found yourself a part of.
Love From Dad belongs to you
Love From Dad, it’s for you. It’s a safe space to speak your child’s name or to tell your story in your words knowing that it will help you and help others longing for a connection.
Every loss matters, and every loss deserves equal respect. Everyone is respected at Love From Dad.
If you would like to share your story or be added to this website as a resource for other dads and partners please get in contact via Email or Instagram.
The inspiration for Love From Dad, is a beautiful little girl called Wren Frances McConnell. Wren's story is in the Unspoken Journeys page along with other beautifully written amazing stories for you to read and connect with. This platform has been created to help you in finding your community and to make connection with others. I hope that Love From Dad can help you like it as helped me, Wrens Dad.
